Ingredients (Serves 2)
2 bunches chives
1 egg
Approximately 8 gyoza wrappers
130g thinly sliced beef belly
200g bean sprouts
2 teaspoons chicken stock powder (A)
2 teaspoons soy sauce
400ml water
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions
1. Cut the chives into 5cm pieces with scissors. Beat the eggs. Fold the gyoza wrappers in quarters. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces with scissors.
2. Heat sesame oil in a pot and fry the beef.
3. Add the bean sprouts, water, and (A), cover, and simmer over low-medium heat for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Add the gyoza wrappers from step 1 and simmer for an additional 3 minutes. (Don't overcook the gyoza skins to ensure they have a smooth texture.)
5. Add the chives, drizzle in the beaten eggs, and wait until fluffy and set.
