Delicious Tuna Rice

 



Ingredients


* Rice…2 cups. Pre-washed rice is also acceptable.

* Canned tuna…1 can

A Water…approx. 450ml

* A Granulated chicken stock powder…approx. 1 tablespoon

* A Soy sauce…approx. 1/2 tablespoon

* A Sugar…approx. 1 teaspoon (or remove 5 tablespoons from the 450ml water and add 5 tablespoons of concentrated mentsuyu)

* Optional: Butter, corn,  carrots , dried parsley…appropriate amounts


Instructions


1. Heat oil (not included in the ingredients list) in a frying pan over low heat. Add the unwashed rice and stir-fry. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes until translucent, then add A and the tuna (including the oil).

2. Cover and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes. Once softened, season with salt and pepper. If desired, mix in butter, corn,  carrots, and sprinkle with parsley.
