Chicken breast fried in the style of ochazuke (rice with tea).

 


Ingredients (for 2 servings):

3 chicken tenderloins

1 teaspoon sake

1 packet instant ochazuke mix

Appropriate amount of potato starch

5-6 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions:

① Remove the sinews from the chicken tenderloins and slice each into 3-4 pieces.

② Place the chicken, sake, and instant ochazuke mix in a plastic bag and massage from the outside of the bag until the powder is evenly distributed.

③ Arrange the chicken pieces on a tray and coat with potato starch.

④ Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Fry until the meat is cooked through and both sides are golden brown. Done!
