Teriyaki chicken breast

 



[Ingredients (for 2 servings)]

Chicken breast: 1 piece (approx. 400g)

Shiso leaves: 4

Pickled plums: 2

Potato starch: 1 tablespoon

Salt and pepper: a pinch each

Oil: 1 tablespoon

A [Soy sauce, sake, mirin: 1 tablespoon each, sugar: 1 teaspoon]


[Instructions]

(1) Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch.

(2) Shred the shiso leaves. Remove the pits from the pickled plums and chop them.

(3) Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned on both sides.

(4) Add A and quickly coat the chicken.

(5) Turn off the heat, add the chopped pickled plums and shiso leaves, mix quickly, and serve on a plate.
