Ingredients
* Chicken thigh…1 piece (approx. 300g)
* Onion…1/2
* Green bell peppers…2
* Salt and pepper…a pinch each
* Sake…1 teaspoon
* Grated ginger…about 1/4 teaspoon
* Potato starch…1 tablespoon
* A Ketchup…3 tablespoons
* A Worcestershire sauce, sugar, mirin…1 teaspoon each
* A Sake…1 tablespoon
* Salad oil…1 teaspoon
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a plastic bag. Rub in salt, pepper, sake, and grated ginger, then add potato starch and mix well. Slice the onion thinly and cut the green bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the chicken and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Once browned, flip the chicken over, add the onion and sauté over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the bell pepper and stir-fry briefly, then pour in the combined ingredients from A. Stir-fry over high heat until the sauce coats everything.
Stir-fry until the sauce is well incorporated and glossy, then it's ready.
