Chicken stir-fried with ketchup

Ingredients

* Chicken thigh…1 piece (approx. 300g)

* Onion…1/2

* Green bell peppers…2

* Salt and pepper…a pinch each

* Sake…1 teaspoon

* Grated ginger…about 1/4 teaspoon

* Potato starch…1 tablespoon

* A Ketchup…3 tablespoons

* A Worcestershire sauce, sugar, mirin…1 teaspoon each

* A Sake…1 tablespoon

* Salad oil…1 teaspoon

Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a plastic bag. Rub in salt, pepper, sake, and grated ginger, then add potato starch and mix well. Slice the onion thinly and cut the green bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.

2. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the chicken and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Once browned, flip the chicken over, add the onion and sauté over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

3. Add the bell pepper and stir-fry briefly, then pour in the combined ingredients from A. Stir-fry over high heat until the sauce coats everything.

Stir-fry until the sauce is well incorporated and glossy, then it's ready.
