Sweet and spicy stir-fried komatsuna and carrots with ground meat.

 


Ingredients (2-3 servings):

1 bag of komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)

1/2 carrot

100g ground chicken

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

[A] 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

[A] 1 1/2 tablespoons mirin

[A] 1 1/2 tablespoons sake

[A] 2 teaspoons sugar

[A] 1/2 teaspoon grated garlic


Instructions:

① Wash the komatsuna well, lightly drain, and cut into 4cm pieces. Peel the carrot and cut into thin strips.

② Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the ground chicken. Cook while breaking it up, and when the color changes, add the stems of the komatsuna and the carrot.

③ Once everything is cooked through, add the leaves of the komatsuna and sauté briefly. Add [A] and mix well. Done!
