"Just add 1 teaspoon": A recipe to transform your usual fried rice into a "Japanese-style Fried Rice "

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

* Rice... 1 bowl

* Egg... 1

* Crab sticks... 3

* Hondashi (Japanese soup stock powder)... 1 teaspoon

* Salt and pepper... to taste

* Chopped green onions... to taste

* Oil... to taste

This time, we'll make a simple fried rice with egg, crab sticks, and green onions.

Directions

Step 1. Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the rice.

Coat the rice with oil.

Step 2. Push the rice to the side of the frying pan and crack in the egg.

Crack the egg into the empty space created by pushing the rice to the side and stir-fry while breaking it up with a spatula.

Once the egg is cooked to a semi-cooked state, stir-fry it together with the rice.

Step 3. Season with dashi powder, salt, and pepper.

Add the finely chopped imitation crab meat, then add the dashi powder and stir-fry. If it's not salty enough, adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

Step 4. Add the chopped green onions and stir-fry until combined.

This completes the dashi fried rice.
